My works are often encapsulated in the vacuum that occur in between happenings. I like to stay, there, where nothing happens, to contemplate the boringness and catch the details of everyday life, enhance those details and make them alive.

I work with video, painting, performance, photography and installations.

One of the goals of my art is to capture trivial details, of monotonous scenes of our lives, keep them alive, make them important and try to catch and keep us in this bardo for a while, trying to make us confortable with it.

(Bardo, In Tibetan Buddhism, a state of existence between death and rebirth, varying in length according to a person’s conduct in life and manner of, or age at, death.)

Beside Art I also work with another dream.
Together with my husband we started a juice factory 12 years ago, on the countryside outside Uppsala. During Spring 2020 we planted 400 new apple trees.
I also bought bees and collected their first honey in summer 2020.
